Join us for pre-PUDDLE fun!
Mid Morning · Trip to Gigi’s Dolls
Informal carpool to Gigi’s Dolls, an amazing brick-and-mortar doll shop! One group will be leaving about 9:30 am from the lobby. If you are interested, ask around (perhaps even before you arrive for PUDDLE) to try and find someone with a spot in their car. The shop is also one of our sponsors. www.gigisdolls.com/
1:30-5:30 pm · Informal Meet & Greet
Bring a doll to the hotel lobby to show you’re a part of PUDDLE, start a conversation with other incoming guests, do some informal buy-sell-trade. Starting at 2:00 pm, you can also sign in and receive your name badge and door prize; all you will have to do on Saturday morning is pick up your gift bag. Registration will halt temporarily while we are at dinner. (Please: no official vending the day before PUDDLE.)
5:30 pm · Group Dinner at Mitsuwa Marketplace
Meet in the hotel foyer at 5:15 or so to carpool to Mitsuwa, or meet up at the marketplace food court – take a doll and watch for others carrying them. If you don’t have a car, ask around to find someone with an open seat or who’d like to Uber with you!
7:30 -11:00 pm · Tea Party and Informal BST
Find a new favorite drink, some new friends, and maybe even some new-to-you items. Bring your items to sell and trade. Until 8:00 pm, you can also sign in and receive your name badge and door prize; all you will have to do on Saturday morning is pick up your gift bag. (No official vending the day before PUDDLE please, except for dolls. Dolls can be sold Friday night. This is in fairness to the Saturday vendors, as some do not arrive until Saturday morning.)

9:00 am · Sign-in, Setup, and Socializing
Sign in and pick up your name badge, door prize and gift bag, then claim a spot at a round table, display your dolls, complete the icebreaker, and meet new people.
10:00 am · Opening words

10:20 am · Vendors officially open
Vendor booths are officially open for business.
10:30-12:00 noon · Stop by the Info Table to enter the customization contests
Display your full customs, modified dolls, mini dolls, and original outfits. Entry forms are available at the Information Table. We’ll help you determine which category to enter (Full Custom Dolls, Modified Dolls, Mini Dolls, Original Outfits) and will help you find a spot on the contest entry tables. All entries will be automatically entered in the Best in Theme category, but you will be able to enter in just that category as well.
12:00 noon · Lunch Break!
We recommend you don’t go far; perhaps grab some fast food across the street and come back to eat with others. Local food options are listed on our Location page. If you ordered and paid for the catered lunch when you registered, it will be available at this time.
12:30 pm · Cake!
Enjoy a piece of cake after lunch.
1:00 pm · Dress Like Your Doll Costume Parade
Whether in jeans and a t-shirt or a full ballgown, each participant (and each doll) gets a turn in the spotlight. Pick up an entry slip at the Information Table and be ready to parade across the stage at noon. A judge will choose winners to receive prizes. Any kind of doll (Blythe, BJD, Smart Doll, etc.) is welcome in this event.
1:20ish · Winners announced, followed by a group photo
Dress Like Your Doll contest winners will be announced. After photos of all the contestants and the winners are taken, we’ll take a quick group photo of everyone who wants to participate.
1:30-2:25 pm · Stop by the Info Table to enter the customization contests

Free workshops in the Grove Room.
1:30 pm: To Be Announced closer to the event.
2:30 pm: Pullip Modification with Taylor Armstrong.
2:00 pm · Silent Auctions Close and Winners announced
Get in your last bids for the Silent Auction items. Once the winners of the silent auction items are announced, you’ll know how much you have left to spend with the vendors. If you win, you will pay for and take your items at 2:00 pm.
2:30 pm · Custom Contest Entries Close
All contest entries must be on display before judging. You can also vote for your favorites. Pick up a voting slip at the Information Table. (Don’t start voting before 2:30 pm, when all entries will be on display!)
2:30 pm-3:30 pm · Judging and Voting
The judges will review the contest entries, and everyone can vote for fan favorites. Turn in your voting slips at the Information Table.
3:30 pm · Treasure Tables Close
Treasure ticket bags will close at 3:30 pm sharp to draw winners for all regular treasure items and prepare for prize distribution. Treasure tickets will be available throughout the day at the Treasure Ticket Table, except for 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm.
5:00 pm · Treasure and Contest Winners Announced, Final Announcements
Treasure item winners will be announced, then live drawings will be done to choose the winners of the Special Treasure items. Contest winners will also be announced.
Immediately after the final announcements, contest winners are invited in to the Elk Room to receive their prizes. Everyone else is invited to view and photograph the winners.
5:30 pm · All Vendors Close
Vendor booths close. (Some booths may close earlier.)
5:30 pm · Last chance socializing and clean-up
Get your new friends’ contact info to stay in touch, then help us clean up the room.
6:00 pm · Official close of PUDDLE
The event is officially over, but that doesn’t mean you have to go home just yet!
6:30ish · Group dinner in Shelby Campbell’s Restaurant
Join us in Shelby Campbell’s Almost Famous Restaurant (located across from the hotel front desk) and bring a doll or two. People will be wandering in at different times and sitting throughout the restaurant, so join anyone carrying a doll.
8:30ish-? · Pajama Party & BST
Relax and chat in the hotel lobby. Have a cup of tea, color, make a beaded headband for your doll, and conduct any last-minute trades or purchases. Vendors are welcome to offer for sale any items that didn’t sell during the day.
