As doll lovers, we are fortunate to be able to participate in our hobby by buying new dolls, accessories, and more. It’s important for us as a community to share our good fortune with others. Each year since the first Pullip and Dal Doll Lovers Event, we’ve made a donation to one or more worthy causes. We like to tie the organization to the theme in some way, and we often choose an organization with a local tie.
In 2025, donations were made to Sustain DuPage (sustaindupage.com) and the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project (mauiforestbirds.org). Sustain DuPage: “Sustainability means social justice for all, a relocalized economy, and a healthy ecosystem.” Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project: “Saving Hawai’i’s native forest birds is about more than just conservation—it’s about ensuring our children and future generations grow up in a world where Hawai’i’s forests are still alive with birdsong.”
