Description

Ticket sales have resumed as of March 2021.
Important things to know for 2021:

  • If you purchased a ticket for PUDDLE 2020, and you didn’t tell us to change it, you do not need to purchase a 2021 ticket.
  • If you previously requested to cancel your 2020 ticket, and you want to attend the 2021 event, you will need to purchase a new ticket. The price is the same as 2020 tickets.
  • We expect to be able to seat a normal amount of PUDDLE attendees — that’s 40% of the maximum ballroom capacity. March 2021 guidelines say that we can have events up to 50% capacity, and we do not expect those guidelines to decrease.
  • We do not yet have final information about whether social distancing, masking, etc. will be required. Please keep in mind when registering that face masks and other distancing requirements may still be in place. PUDDLE will be unable to accommodate face mask exemptions. If you are not able or willing to wear a mask, please wait to join us in 2022 instead.
  • If you purchased a ticket prior to March 2021, and you do not want to attend in June 2021 for any reason, please contact us. We can refund your ticket or hold it for 2022. Refunds for previous sales are available up until one week before the event.
  • Tickets purchased during or after March 2021 will be subject to normal purchase policies — refunds are not available, but tickets may be transferred to a different person up until one week before the event.
  • There will be no price increases for the 2021 tickets. All tickets are sold at the 2020 Early Bird price.
  • Ticket sales will end after May 29, 2021, or when tickets sell out.

Each ticket includes one seat at a guest table, a badge with custom-printed artwork, a door prize, and access to all vendors, workshops, and contests. Additionally, every attendee receives an exclusive, premium gift bag filled with donated goodies for you and your dolls.

Streamline your PUDDLE experience by adding on access to the pizza buffet lunch served immediately next to the ballroom for an additional $16 per person. (Your indication of omnivore, vegetarian, or cheese pizza does not limit you to eating only that kind of selection — it just helps us to make sure we have enough of each kind available.) If you have additional special dietary needs, contact us BEFORE paying for your pizza buffet access to ensure that your needs can be met. You may also purchase lunches separately.

Lunch availability is subject to local health guidelines at the time of the event. We will notify and refund any lunch purchasers in the event that we are not able to offer a safe, catered lunch. We will check in with everyone who purchased a lunch towards the end of May to confirm. Lunch sales closed May 25, 2021.

Fees help us cover the cost of the meeting room and other PUDDLE expenses. It would not be possible to reserve the full ballroom and both side meeting rooms of the Holiday Inn Chicago-Elk Grove without advance registration fees!

Registration

There will not be tickets available at the door. Please register in advance instead.

The Pullip and Dal Doll Lovers Events welcomes people of all skin colors, all religions, all cultural and ethnic backgrounds, all abilities and disabilities, all gender identities, and all sexual orientations.

Doll lovers of all ages are welcome to attend. If you are 13 or under to age 10, we suggest that an adult accompany you to the event, though they are not required to buy their own ticket and stay in the room. If you are 9 or under, you must be accompanied by a paid adult. Very small children (3 and under) are allowed to attend without paying a fee. (We do discourage attendees from bringing small children because there are many tempting, fragile items to touch and it is hard to fully participate in PUDDLE with a small child. However, we know sometimes there is no other way for a parent to attend. Young children will always be able to sit with their parents but will not have room at a guest table for their own toys and activities.)

If you need accommodations for a disability, please contact us in advance so we may make adjustments.

No. PUDDLE is small enough that we fulfill registration individually at the event, without needing paper tickets.

We will have a list of all registered attendees at the event. All you need to do is tell us your name! Check in begins Friday afternoon with badge and door prize pickup. Gift bags are only distributed on Saturday.

Tickets are not available for purchase at the door, so make sure to purchase your registration in advance.

There will not be an official wait list.

You may still purchase tickets from someone who has extra or cannot attend, up to one week before PUDDLE. Transferred tickets cannot be sold for more than the original purchaser paid. No transfers will be made within the week before PUDDLE.

We suggest checking the following locations to find secondhand tickets:

Purchasing tickets from a third party is taken at your own risk. PUDDLE accepts no responsibility for any problems with secondhand ticket sales. However, if you are concerned that someone may be selling tickets they don’t have, or for more money than they originally paid, please contact us so that we may investigate.

Tickets for PUDDLE 2021 have a special refund policy: Tickets purchased between October 2019 and February 2021 are refundable for any reason up to 1 week before PUDDLE 2021. Tickets purchased March 2021 and later are not refundable and follow the normal policy below.

Due to the small-scale nature of the event, we cannot refund tickets. However, your ticket can be transferred to another person if PUDDLE staff are notified of the transfer no later than one week before PUDDLE. (If you buy a secondhand ticket, make sure you contact us to tell us what name you want on your badge.)

Yes. Everyone who will be in the meeting room is expected to pay the fee and receive a nametag, for space and security reasons. There is a lot to do in the Chicago area, so people who are not interested in PUDDLE may want to find other activities.

If you are bringing a child who is 13 or under to age 10, we suggest that you accompany the child to the event, but you are not required to buy your own ticket and stay in the room.
